Claire Connelly



Claire Connelly holds a Masters of BM from the University of Oklahoma and a Masters of Music from the Cleveland Institute of Music. She has taught music and theatre to people of all ages from babies up through seniors. She works for Stagecrafters Theatre in Pepper Pike, OH and is an adjunct faculty member at John Carroll University. Claire loves sharing her love of music with the families at Sing and Swing.

Claire has been described as a “fine soprano voice with a vivacious presence,” by the Cleveland Plain Dealer. Claire is a professional opera singer based in Cleveland, OH. Traveling all over the country, she has touched the souls of her audiences through her many heart-felt and energetic performances. She has sung for international dignitaries such as Vice-President Al Gore, President George H. W. Bush, Vicente Fox, and many others. She has performed with regional companies in Ohio with the Fairmount Center of the Arts, Apollo’s Fire, Akron Symphony, Cleveland Orchestra, and the Chagrin Falls Studio Orchestra and in Oklahoma with Tulsa Opera, Cimmarron Circuit Opera Company, and Light Opera Oklahoma.
Claire grew up in Tulsa, Oklahoma where she began singing at age 3. Her mother was always singing and dancing around the house and encouraged Claire to do the same. Claire will be getting married in April 2016 to a lovely Cleveland man.
