Linda Pear is thrilled to be teaching with Sing and Swing this year! Linda has always had a passion for music. She took piano, voice, and dance lessons in her youth, and participated in numerous choirs. In High School, she taught herself the guitar, and was the founder and leader of a school group that taught beginners the basics of guitar. She graduated from Kenyon College with a BA in Psychology. At Kenyon, she sang with The Chamber Singers under the direction of Ben Locke, and was elected co-President her senior year. Linda loves leading others in song, directing both the Junior and Senior Choirs at Camp Strawderman, an all girls camp in the Shenandoah Valley in Virginia. She currently works at Hershey Montessori School where she assists in their Young Child Community for children age 1 to 3. Recently, Linda taught herself the ukulele, which is by far her favorite instrument because of its charming simplicity. Linda lives in Euclid with her fiance, Dan, and their two dogs, Morley and Penny.

If I could visit anywhere I would go... To outer space!

You would never guess this about me, but... I'm a vegetarian!

I love teaching Music Together because...I get to be a part of a community that loves to sing, dance, and be silly!
